We’re always looking for opportunities to raise awareness about the great things that we do and we’re especially proud of a new partnership with Pandora’s Food & Wine night, hosted by Wine Trust Estates.
How does it work?
Once every 2 months, Pandora’s restaurant in Rouse Hill will run a food and wine tasting night. Participants relax in good company and try a full course meal accompanied by a variety of quality wines from Wine Trust Estates.
We launched the first event this week on Thursday 26th March and were indulged with 4 gourmet courses which tasted as delicious as they looked. And we’re serious when we say indulge, each plate was outstanding! Our menu consisted of seared scallop for starter and lemon thyme quail for entree, followed by roasted lamb loin for main and baked camembert with beetroot scone to finish.
With each dish, we were served 2 wine options (yes, full glasses!) and asked to choose which we liked best. Most of the time, the room was divided as everyone’s unique preferences came to light. With no right or wrong answers, the night was certainly one to remember with a room of laughter and mouth-watering aromas.
How does Kids West benefit from the night?
At each event, Wine Trust Estates will generously be donating 2 cases of Picarus Wrattonbully Shiraz that will be raffled at the end of the night. Wine is also available for purchase, with 15% of all wine orders made during each event to be donated back to Kids West. This week was a great success for Kids West, with $600 raised!
If you’re feeling like you’ve missed out, don’t panic! The next event is from 25th May to 1st June, call 8883 1733 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.
